SPA Hotel – A new concept of SPA center with swimming pool, gym, garden ,glass roof, lounge and some rooms. In this project you will find a modern architecture and an interesting use of some of our advanced features to create for example an unusual roof structure for the restaurant area. You will also find in this project a nice glass roof in the center of the project, a pergola outside and a gym room with some of our new 3D furnitures.

IntelliCAD’s story

IntelliCAD’s story is among the most complex and fascinating of the CAD Industry.

IntelliCAD and the Phoenix project

In the early 1990′s a company named IntelliCAD sells to Autodesk some lines of code that come to be integrated in AutoCAD. Softdesk, one of Autodesk’s major partners in North America realizes Autodesk starts to compete on vertical applications against some of its partners.

Softdesk acquires in secret the IntelliCAD company and asks its development team to work on an AutoCAD clone.

Autodesk acquires Softdesk

In 1997 Autodesk acquires Softdesk for USD 87 millons and discovers the secret AutoCAD clone project.  The US Federal Trust Commission gets to learn about this clone being the only alternative to AutoCAD’s monopoly on the market.

The anti-trust organization forces Autodesk to externalize the IntelliCAD technology and creates some protections for it not to be attacked by Autodesk. A company named Boomerang Inc. is created by the Initial team of IntelliCAD developers.

Visio IntelliCAD

Seeing AutoCAD coming on its market, Visio decides to acquire Boomerang for USD 6.7 millions to fight back on AutoCAD’s market with the ambition to launch a low-cost clone of AutoCAD.

Visio launches massive teasing marketing campaigns announcing a revolution in the CAD industry but the project gets delayed.

The first IntelliCAD on the market

Visio IntelliCAD is launched with very aggressive pricing and reaches quickly 12 000 users but Visio’s expectations were much higher. This first IntelliCAD version is still instable and sales will not reach more than 30 000 licenses… too short to cover the USD 25 millions invested in Marketing and Development.

Visio will face major financial problems and will finally be acquired by Microsoft in 1999 for USD 1 300 millions.

The IntelliCAD Consortium

Just before being acquired by Microsoft, Visio decides to stop the IntelliCAD development and initiates the creation of the IntelliCAD Consortium which mission will be to maintain and finalize the source code.

This consortium has now reached about 50 members. IntelliCAD is now reknown on the market as the best alternative to AutoCAD for developers and is currently working on the next generation of the technology:  IntelliCAD 7
